DU tells colleges to fill remaining reserved category seats

Delhi University has started classes for its new academic session already. Admissions through the tenth and last cut off list is also

over, however some reserved category seats at few DU affiliated colleges are vacant.

Delhi University has written to the colleges with a new schedule to fill such reserved category seats.

The notification issued by deputy registrar (academic), Ram Dutt, on Saturday said, "In light of the fact that a few seats of SC, ST

and OBC are still vacant in some colleges, it has been decided that the colleges will fill the seats in accordance with the following

schedule." Colleges have been told to display the vacant seats on its website and notice board at 10am today, August 04.

Registrations will take place today i.e August 04 and on August 05 till 4pm. By 5pm on Tuesday, colleges will notify the list of eligible

candidates and admissions will take place on August 06 and August 07, 2014. The vacant seats shall be filled by the eligible SC,

ST and OBC candidates registered with the college on the basis of merit.

Meanwhile, registrations for admissions to B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations) and BA Honours

(Humanities and Social Sciences) courses for academic session 2014 at Delhi University Cluster Innovation Centre are on its way.
