NIOS 12th result April 2014 declared

New Delhi : National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS ) has announced results for the Senior Secondary (Class 12th) exams conducted in April 2014 on the official NIOS website. The April 2014 examination began from April 3, 2014 and ended on April 30th, 2104. The examination schedule was revised multiple times due to Lok Shabha elections.

Copy of the relevant portion of the result will be provided to the Accredited Vocational Institutions immediately after the declaration of results. Marksheet, provisional certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate will be issued to the successful candidates directly through their respective AIs. In case of direct registrants and candidates from cancelled AIs, the documents will be sent by post to their residential addresses given to NIOS by the concerned Regional Centre. In the case of candidates whose required subjects are yet to be cleared, they will receive the mark-sheet only.

The results of the NIOS Secondary or equivalent Class 10 Examination April 2014 are expected on June 10 according to the official website Aspirants for both Secondary and Senior Secondary are required to pass in a minimum of five subjects including one or maximum of two languages from one Group and other three or four subjects from the ther Group . Candidates are free to take up to two additional subjects. In all candidates can choose a maximum of seven subjects.

Online Admissions for April 2015 Examination is open and is available till July 31. Online admissions for October-November examination 2014 are also available now.

Course material and examinations are administered by NIOS through their various regional centers. Earlier known as National Open School, NIOS is recognized and accepted nation-wide. NIOS also offers Elementary level Courses through its Open Basic Education Programmes.
