Indians accounted for more than one-third of the temporary workers in the US in 2012. This was revealed by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in its report released on 16 April 2014. The report said that Indian temporary workers at 4,30,000 also accounted for the largest number of non-immigrants residing in the US in 2012.
