General instruction for UPSC NDA exam, to be held on 28th September

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to conduct National Defence Academy (NDA) and Navy Academy (NA) examination II on Sunday (September 28). The admit cards have been released on the official website and should be carried by the candidates to the examination hall, failing which they shall not be permitted to sit for the examination.

The examination will have two papers. Paper I will test Mathematics and carry 300 marks and Paper II will test General Ability and carry 600 marks.

General instructions have been mentioned here:
All the question papers shall be objective (multiple choice) type.
For every wrong answer, negative marking will be applicable.
The candidates should use black ball pens only for marking their answers.
Paper I - Mathematics and Part B of Paper II question papers are available in both English and Hindi.
Candidates are advised not to write anything on the answer sheet/text booklet other than the specific items of information asked.
SI units will be used in the papers and candidates should use only international form of Indian numerals (i.e. 1, 2, 3,4,5,6 etc.) while answering question papers.
Mobile Phones, pagers or any other communication devices will not be permitted inside the exam hall.

The candidates who have opted for Srinagar as their examination centre should note that the commission has decided to cancel the Srinagar centre. They shall be provided accommodations at the Jammu centre.
