Date is out for the SSC CGL Exam 2014September 22, 2014
The dates for Combined Graduate Level Exam 2014 has been announced for Karnataka, Kerala region which was scheduled to be held on April 25 and May 4, 2014 but was postponed due to the General Elections, would now be held on October 19, 2014 in Karnataka-Kerala region.
The CGL is conducted by the Staff Service Commission for recruitment at different government service posts for which completing graduation from a recognised university is an essential eligibility criterion. The recruitment is conducted in three rounds - first the Tier I written examination, followed by Tier II written examination for applicants qualifying Tier I examination. Finally, candidates clearing both written examinations appear for the Computer Proficiency Test/Interview/Skill Test as applicable for the post applied for.
The Tier I examination will be based on General Intelligence (for 50 marks), Reasoning (for 50 marks), General Awareness (for 50 marks) Quantitative Aptitude (for 50 marks) and English Comprehension (for 50 marks) and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
