NDA, NA exam shifts to Jammu from Srinagar

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting National Defence Academy (NDA) and Navy Academy (NA) examinations for candidates. The admit cards for the examination scheduled to take place on September 28 have been released and can be downloaded from the official website.

The candidates who have opted for Srinagar (J&K) as their examination centre should note that the government of Jammu and Kashmir has intimated that almost all the educational institutes of Srinagar are submerged or marooned and based on the advice of the government, the commission has decided to cancel the 'Srinagar' centre. All these candidates will be accommodated at 'Jammu' centre.

According to an official notification, "The candidates of NDA & NA Examination(II), 2014 who have opted for Srinagar centre and were allotted GOVERNMENT S. P. HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, MAULANA AZAD ROAD, SRINAGAR- 190001, are advised to reach GOVERNMENT M. A. M COLLEGE,  UNIVERSITY ROAD, JAMMU - 180004 to appear in the said examination. The candidates who may have not been able to download their e-Admit Cards for the examination due to disruption in Internet facilities in Srinagar, may collect their respective e-Admit Cards from Venue Supervisor, at Government M.A.M. College, University Road, Jammu-180004 preferably on September 27 between 10 am and 5 or on September 28 from 8 am to 9 am. The candidates may also take note of the fact that the Examination is scheduled from 10 am to 12:30 pm (PAPER I  MATHEMATICS) and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm (PAPER II GENERAL ABILITY TEST) on September 28, 2014."
