ABVP claiming to win with a huge margin

September 9, 2014

The Akhil Bhartiya Vidya Parishad is confident to win all the four seats and that also with a huge margin this time too.

The ABVP has intensified its campaign for Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) polls which is going to be held on 12 September. The candidates of BJP's student wing campaigned in two groups in the West and East Delhi colleges and some colleges of North Campus.

They are moving forward with their manifesto that includes women safety among top issues. Their manifesto also include demand for more buses for DU students, more hostel facilities, safety for north-eastern students, affordable rate for the food at the campus canteens, among many more.

Their presidential candidate Mohit Nagar said student activism that they had carried out throughout the year and their success last year when they controlled the union were added factors that would contribute to their win.

Their secretary candidate KanikaShekawat said that unlike the NSUI, whose candidates are seen just 10 days before the elections, the ABVP team had been chosen based on the work they had done throughout the year. “We have been visible protesting in the sun all year around,” she added.
