AIPGMEE 2015: Eligibility CriteriaSeptember 6, 2014
All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) 2015 is being conducted for admission to 50% All-India seats in MD, MS and Diploma medical courses across all the medical institutions in India (except medical colleges in Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). It will be conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) which conducts entry and examinations at Postgraduate and Post Doctoral levels for doctors.
Registration for AIPGMEE 2015 started on August 29 and close by October 10, 2014. It will be conducted online from December 1 to December 6, 2014 and its results are expected by January 15, 2014.
Candidates interested in appearing for AIPGMEE exam 2015 have to meet the following requirements:
Indian citizens with MBBS degree from recognised medical college who will complete their 1-year compulsory rotating internship and are able to obtain full REGISTRATION from the Medical Council of India or State Medical Councils by March 31, 2015 are eligible to appear for AIPGMEE 2015.
Candidates who have done MBBS from medical college in J&K, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana are not eligible for all-India quota seats. But those who were nominated by the Government of India to do MBBS from the medical colleges in these states under the Central Pool seats can apply for the exam. For this, they have to submit a duly signed affidavit to this effect to the Deputy Director (Examinations), National Board of Examinations, Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, (Ring Road), New Delhi – 110029 along with a printout of the acknowledgement slip of AIPGMEE 2015 online application form submission – latest by November 30, 2014.
In case a candidate is already pursuing a PG course in a University, it is his or her responsibility to confirm the eligibility conditions of their University before applying for the exam. The government will not be responsible if they are refused admission in the course of their choice after cracking the exam successfully.
Do note that the medical colleges from where candidates have done MBBS must be recognised before October 31, 2014.
