NSTSE 2015 National Level Science Talent Search Examination : Eligibility Criteria and Paper PatternAugust 14, 2014
The National Level Science Talent Search Examination (NSTSE) is a diagnostic test that measures the concept understanding ability of a student and provides a detailed feedback on the same to help them improve. It was developed in India for Indian schools after a detailed study of the syllabi of different central and state boards. Unified Council is India's leading scientific assessment organization.
Unlike regular tests which try only to find out how much a child knows, this test measures how well a student has understood the concepts.
Eligibility Criteria for NSTSE 2015:
Both males and females can apply for this test
Students of classes II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI (PCM and PCB), XII (PCM and PCB).
NSTSE follows CBSE syllabus. Question papers are also suitable for students of ICSE/ISC and various state boards.
The exam would be in English language and separate question paper would be set up for each class.
The paper would consist of objective-type questions of 1 mark each and there would be no negative marking.
The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
The paper is based on CBSE syllabus.

The examination is on January 25, 2015 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.
