New Delhi : CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class 12 Compartment Examination 2014 and Class 10 Improvement Examination Date Sheet has been issued.
Students can use this chance provided to them by the CBSE to improve their grades and scores. Candidates can check the grade sheet at the official website of CBSE I,e www.cbse.nic.in
Improvement of Performance examination will be taken from July 16 to July 22, 2014 for CBSE class-10. The Improvement examination for class 10 will be conducted by CBSE for all candidates who scored E grade or scored D (or higher) but wish to improve the grades. All students who appeared in 2014 examination will get only and only one chance to appear in improvement examination in the month of July 2014.
The number of attempts for Improvement of Performance for Class X has been reduced to one from five w.e.f. 2013 examination. The candidates shall appear for the Improvement of Performance conducted by the Board in July/ School by July, as per the option exercised for the Main examination held in March the same year. However, for candidates who have appeared in the 2012 examination and placed in the category 'IMPROVEMENT OF PERFORMANCE' shall get upto five chances.
Class 12 Compartment Examination 2014 will be held on July 16 only. A candidate placed in compartment shall be allowed to appear only in those subjects in which he/she has been placed in compartment at the Second Chance Compartmental Examination to be held in March/April next year.
For subjects involving practical work, in case the candidate has passed in practical at the main examination he/she shall appear only in theory part and previous practical marks will be carried forward and accounted for. In case a candidate has failed in practical he/she shall have to appear in theory and practical both irrespective of the fact that he/she has already cleared the theory examination.
