New Delhi : Delhi University is set to introduce a one-year master's degree in law (LLM) from the 2015-16. At Saturday's Academic Council meeting, approval will also be sought for introducing forensic courses at undergraduate level this session and at postgraduate level from next year.
The PG in forensic science will also be for one year so that it is in sync with the four-year-undergraduate programme, DU sources said. According to sources in the standing committee meeting on Friday, apart from seeking approval for the revised course structure for MBA, MCom and proposed course on advanced communicative algebra for MPhil/ pre-PhD course work, the university will also seek approval for the forensic science courses and LLM course.
In January 2013, University Grants Commission had issued guidelines for introduction of the one-year LLM programme.
