UPSC Civil Services 2013 Final results: Top 5 ranks Boys outshine girls

New Delhi : UPSC declared the final results of the Civil Services examination 2013 online at its official website. A total of 1,122 candidates have cleared the examination and been selected for the various services. The merit list of the Civil Services examination 2013 qualifying candidates has shown that from the top five rank holders only one, the 5th rank holder is a girl. The first 4 ranks have been secured by boys only.
Top 5 Rank holders are:
1. Gaurav Agrawal
2. Munish Sharma
3. Rachit Raj
4. Akshay Tripathi
5. Bharti Dixit
The 1,122 qualified candidates have been selected by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services Group A and Group B. Names of the qualified candidates have been released on the official UPSC website in order of merit. Candidates can also check their names by Roll number. The detailed marks will be released within the next 15 days.
The last step of the Civil Services examination 2013 i.e. the Personality Test interviews were held from April 2014 to June 2014 while the Civil Services Mains examination 2013 was conducted in December 2013. Around 3,003 candidates had been short listed for the Personality Test interviews which were then completed in three schedules. (Source-India today)
