Patna: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE ) has declared the result for the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT) 2014 which was conducted on May 4. Out of a total of 5,23,701 candidates, 46,271 candidates have qualified the test which was conducted at 929 examination centres located in 50 cities including one abroad.
Tejaswin Jha from Bihar topped AIPMT 2014 scoring 682 marks out 700 marks after passing Class X in 2012 from Kota to fulfill his medical dream. His efforts paid off as he stood first in All India Pre-Medical Test, the result of which was announced on Saturday.
Jha got training for the entrance exam in Kota, Rajasthan. He is hoping to repeat the same performance in the AIIMS result expected soon.
Lovedeep Singh Dhingra, a student of MGN Public School, Jalandhar, secured second rank. Lovedeep, who is the state topper in AIPMT, recently stood third in the Class-12 examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in medical stream in the district with 96.4 per cent marks.
He has scored 680 marks, just three marks short of the all-India AIPMT topper.
