Gujarat Board SSC / Class 10 Results 2014 declared

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Board SSC Results for Class 10 has been declared for all candidates. Candidates can check results in the below mentioned by entering their seat no or name.

More than 9 lakh 75 thousand students from Gujarat have appeared for the Gujarat Board SSC Examination Students would be able to check the results on the official website of GSEB i.e. www.gseb.org

Class 10 examinations were held from March 13, 2014 to March 24, 2014. Exams started with first language papers in Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, English, Urdu, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu, and concluded with Second languages such as Hindi, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Parsi, Arabic. The theory examination timings for all subjects were 10 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. GESB has recently declared HSC results three days before, i.e May 31. for Arts, Commerce and Vocational Streams.

Results for GUJCET 2014 conducted for admissions to undergraduate professional courses such as Engineering B. Tech, B.E, Medical MBBS, Dental BDS and Pharmacy B Pharma within the state of Gujarat was declared in May 23.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conduct the main and supplementary public examinations every year in March and October, for SSC (Class 10 ) and HSC (Class 12). The SSC examination is conducted in 335 centres. One hundred and one subjects are covered, and question papers are set in six different languages -Gujarati, Hindi, English, Marathi, Sindhi and Tamil.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or GSEB is a government of Gujarat body responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction the state's higher educational system takes. The main responsibilities of the Board include academics, conducting examinations and research and development. The main academic task of GSEB is the preparation of syllabus for secondary schools and also the recommendation of text-books to be taught in government schools. The Board also performs the duties of recognizing new schools, performance evaluation of schools and inspections of various schools associated with the Board.
