The CBSE class 12th results for the Patna region were declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education today. The region, which covers Bihar and Jharkhand areas, witnessed 82.47 per cent girls clear the class 12th examination while only 69.01 per cent boys managed to crack the same.
This year a total of 77201 students had registered for the CBSE board exam , out of which 51774 were boys and 25427 were girls. However, only 74453 students appeared for the exam out of which 49417 were boys and 25036 were girls.

This year the CBSE 12 exams were in spotlight over the alleged paper leak of Physics paper in Imphal. Some teachers also informed that the class 12th question papers were tough compared to the previous year although record breaking scores are expected from the students this year too. Over 1600 people surfed the websites after the news surfaced.
