New Delhi : Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce results for CBSE class XII board examinations after declaration of Lok Sabha result.
Counting of Lok sabha election is scheduled on 16 may 2014 and it is likely that result will be declared soon after this. However, sources reveal that the results can get postponed till the Government formation at centre.
CBSE class XII board examinations 2014 commenced of March 1, 2014 and the last examination took place on April 22, 2014. The exam dates were revised for many subjects due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
The CBSE class XII board examinations 2014 were undertaken by some 10,29,874 students which was a 9.32% increase from the 9,42,035 students who sat for the exam in 2013. Out this total number, 4,26,810 were female candidates and the rest 6,03,064 were male students. This year a total of 8,602 schools registered for the board examinations for class XII conducted by CBSE and the examinations were conducted in around 3,039 centers spread all over the country.
