Arunavha Chanda, a 19-year-old boy from Kolkata has achieved a perfect score in SAT and has received admission offers from seven top US varsities.
Arunavha Chanda, a class 12 student from Delhi Public School, is yet to decide on the university he wants to pursue his under-graduate education from, said a newspaper report. Arunavha cruised through the standardized examination for admission to American colleges with a perfect 2400/2400 SAT score, with full marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level II.
According to the report, Arunavha applied for admissions to eight US universities and received acceptance letters from seven - Harvard University, Duke University, Cornell University, Stanford University, Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College.
The college, which slipped through his fingers was MIT since he was unable to submit his project on time.
He has been offered the C. Prescott Davis scholarship by Columbia University, said the newspaper report.
He has also been offered financial aid from Harvard, Cornell University, Stanford University, Georgia Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College since they do not give scholarships at under-graduate level.
Arunavha's parents are doctors.
