Indian Air Force has invited applications for recruitment at the post of 'commissioned officer' in

The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a postgraduate degree in Science/
Mathematics/ Statistics/Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Sciences/ Applied
Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-
Physics/ Environmental Biology, having acquired at least 50 per cent aggregate marks.
The candidates applying for this post should age between 20 and 25 years.
Minimum height (male candidates): 157.5 cms with correlated weight.
Minimum height (female candidates): 152 cms with correlated weight.
Pay Band (PB - 3) Rs 15, 600 to Rs 39, 100 with grade pay plus other allowances as
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the intelligent test to be
followed by a psychological test, group test and personal interview. The interview is scheduled
to be held at one of the Air Force Station Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar
or Varanasi. Also, the candidates will have to appear for a medical examination scheduled to
take place at AFCME, New Delhi or IAM Bengaluru based on the recommendations at AFSB.
The medically fit candidates will be called for training.

passport size photographs should be affixed on the application form too.
