AT by College Board of US to be held on October 11 in India

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT October 2014) conducted by College Board of the US will be held

on October 11, 2014.

SAT October is developed and published by ETS (Educational Testing Service) for seeking

admission to undergraduate programs in US universities for the academic session 2014.

Anyone who has completed his/her 12 years of schooling from any recognised Indian board or

university can take SAT reasoning test or SAT subject tests or both. The subjects available for

SAT January are US History, Chemistry, Literature, Physics, Spanish, Mathematics, French and

Biology E/M.

Important Dates:

Last date for registration: September 12, 2014.

Deadline for registration changes: September 30, 2014.

Date of SAT October: October 11, 2014.

The SAT is made up of 10 sections:

A 25-minute essay

Six 25-minute sections (mathematics, critical reading and writing)

Two 20-minute sections (mathematics, critical reading and writing)

A 10-minute multiple-choice writing section

Total test time: 3 hours and 45 minutes

Candidates must present acceptable photo identification for admission to the test center.

Acceptable IDs for entry to exam center:

Government-issued driver's license or non-driver ID card

Official school-produced student-identification card from the school you currently attend

Government-issued passport

Government-issued military or national identification card

Talent Search Identification Forms (allowed for eighth grade and below)

SAT Student ID Form (must be prepared by the school you currently attend or a notary, if
