Delhi University admission: seventh cut-off list out

The University of Delhi (DU) has released its 7th cut-off list. Most of the colleges have closed

admission for majority of the courses.

According to PTI, B.A Economics (Hons) is only available at ARSD College (94-95. 75) while

B.A Political Science is being offered at Ramanujan (82.5-83) and Lakshmi Bai college (81).

English (Hons) is available at Hansraj (94.25-96), Hindu (93.5-94.75), Deen Dayal Upadhyay

College (87) and Satyavati college (91-92.5).

B.A History (Hons) is available at Hansraj (92.5-94.5), IP college (84.5-89) and Kamla Nehru

(92.5-94.5).

Admissions to B.Sc courses are closed in all the colleges except few seats for B.Sc Physical

Science in Maharaja Agrasen, Matreyi and Miranada House and few seats for B.Sc Bio Science

in Sri Venketeshwara college.

No cut-off list was available for Gargi, SGBT Khalsa and Lady Irwin college. The students

seeking admission to these colleges need to contact them directly for availability of seats.

The eligible candidates meeting the requirement notified in the sixth cut-off list can take

admissions till July 19. The eighth cut-off list (if any) will be announced on July 21.

The academic session for DU colleges is going to begin from July 21. A statement from the

registrar's office read, "University of Delhi wishes to reassure students and faculty alike that the

university shall reopen in full measure on July 21, 2014."

The change in the undergraduate structure after continuous protests threw an air of uncertainty
