Andhra popular engineering, agriculture and medical entrance exam, EAMCET 2014 will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad today, 22 May, 2014.
3,95,600 candidates have registered themselves for EAMCET 2014 which will be conducted in 750 centers across the state of Andhra Pradesh.
There are two tests included: Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medical (AM). Applicants may take one or both tests depending on the courses they wish to apply. Around 2.8 lakh candidates have registered for the engineering stream and 1.12 lakh for the agriculture and medicine stream. The engineering test will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 523 centres and the agriculture and medicine test, from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at 227 centres.
JNTUH conducts EAMCET on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
It is for admission to undergraduate programs in Andhra Pradesh universities, private unaided colleges and affiliated professional colleges for the 2014 - 2015 academic year.
